Bad Religion
How could Hell be any Worse? (1982)
NAME: How could Hell be any Worse?
ARTIST: Bad Religion
RATING:

REVIEW: CLASSIC, CLASSIC, CLASSIC!!!! One of
the best skate punk albums out there. This was Bad Religions first full length album. Released on Epitaph (Greg Graffins own label) is only about 30 mins long. Now I don't know about you but any CD thats 30 mins long and has 14 tracks must have some good tracks on there. The album starts off with one of Bad Religions most famous song '
We're only gonna die' high powered and it changes style thought the song. Amazing piece of work by Bad Religion. Another great song off the album is
'Fuck Armageddon... This is Hell' which is another fan favorite and to this day Bad Religion still plays this song at there live shows. My personal favorite song off this album is
'The Voice of God is Government' spoken word in the biggening as a perist at a church saying that God loves you like no one esle and to please donate any money you have to God. Then just kicks into high gear and repeats "The boy forgot his government". What do I say? If you don't have this in your collection then go to the hospital and say you need this. I keep this disc in my stereo at ALL times.
Bathory
Nordland II+I (2002)
NAME: Nordland II+I
ARTIST: Bathory
RATING:

REVIEW: This album is Bathory's newest album and is a remake of Bathory's album "Nordland" that came out a few years ago. The album is a viking metal, legendary, and all that. The songs that are on this include
'Vinland' and
'Rise of the Silver Hammer' are completely epic in the sense that you feel you could be in battle with the Norse warriors themselves. Even though this is a different album then the original this review is on both because they share about half the songs.
'Mother Earth Father Thunder' is
very very very extreme song for this genre and is off the original album. Even the band itself reflects the epicness of the genre! The band was pretty much ran by 1 man! Quorthon is is greatness behind this album. Nordland I and II both are driving though new territory with their albums after 24 years! Must buy album for any metal head. - Pedo
BrokeNCYDE
Get Crunk or Die (1993)
NAME: Get Crunk or Dier
ARTIST:BrokeNCYDE
RATING:

REVIEW: Well this is quite different then my usual music I must say... Where to begin with this, well BrokeNCYDE's first album released well not to long ago is quite different then well everything! There is Screamo and "Crunk" as it is put which pretty means heavy beats of suckish music with some black guy rapping about ass grass and well cash. Well what if we combined best of both worlds? Well what you get is heavy beats some "rapping" and tons of high pitched screams. The screams aren't to bad actually I find them quite tolerable but most people either HATE BC13 or love them. If you like interesting beats and think it would be cool to dance to screams download a few songs by them. See if you like it then buy the album cause its such a controversal band that you shouldn't waste money if you don't like them. -Pedo
I actually like BC13
Burzum
Det Som Engang Var (1993)
Black Flag
Slip it In (1984)
NAME: Slip it In
ARTIST:Black Flag
RATING:

REVIEW: No matter what album it is I will always love Black Flag. But for me this album rise above the rest.
'Slip it In' the first song on the album is awesome and yet creepy sexy too. Rollin's just really shows his different personalities as he changes his voice though out the whole song, also they have a women in the song too.
'Black Coffee' simple song, basic punk its a bit random but I mean thats why we love black flag right?
Rat's Eyes' creepy Rollin's at his best I have to say I love the guitars in it too though makes you feel almost insane while listening to this song.
'The Bars' obviously about jail I like this song a lot you can feel the anger in it and gets to the point also.
'My Ghetto' another insane song that I would love to listen to all day, just over and over again, the guitars are the best part in this song very high though out the whole song and the long begging of just the amp and guitar static, its creative. Like the 80's hard rock punk? This album is a must no doubt.
